DO

Dr. Steven Nabers was born and raised in Red Bay, Alabama. He started his medical endeavors at the University of Alabama in 2011, and then headed to medical school at VCOM-Auburn in 2015. He completed residency training in Jackson, Tennessee, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where he became board certified in Family Medicine in 2022. His main focus is outpatient family medicine and primary care, but he also works at Helen Keller Emergency Room. 

When not at the clinic, hospital, or ER, you will likely find him somewhere outdoors or on the farm with his two black labs, Wynn and Encore. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and wildlife habitat management. He has recently taken up raising ducks and chickens, and loves to tell his stories of farm life! 

As well as primary care, Dr. Nabers offers several procedures at Tennessee Valley Healthcare, including Botox injections and joint injections. Dr. Nabers believes that a positive impact on a patient’s self confidence can play a vital role in the overall health and wellness of a patient.
